Description:
The Internet Marketing Manager will be responsible
for designing and developing the company website and integrated marketing
infrastructure, building, educating and converting community to active sales
leads.
The ideal candidate will use their
expertise in online marketing (SEM, Email, blogs, analytics, etc.) as well as
CRM and marketing automation tools to build community; including paid and
natural search, affiliate programs, partnership marketing/content integration
programs, email marketing, webinars, podcasts and other educational programs.
And then qualify new sales leads from the developed and educated community.
This individual will be required to think
creatively to recommend courses of action consistent with business objectives.

Responsibilities:
The work requires the use of independent
judgment, interpreting and implementing policies and procedures and working
with computer applications as needed. As
the company continues to grow, the work will be challenging, intense, and
fast-paced:
- Developing and executing a company web site designed to maximize natural search, site traffic and sales demand
- Developing and executing an online community acquisition plan designed to build and educate an active and growing community focused on the issue of managing virtualized environments
- Working in conjunction with the rest of the marketing team to develop and execute online education and qualification campaigns aimed at identifying qualified prospects from within the community
- Maximizing paid/natural search traffic and order conversion, while meeting cost per acquisition targets
- Directing interactive agency marketing and media campaigns to meet business performance objectives
- Tracking and measure online programs; designing test strategies and creative to optimize results
- Ensuring effective creative development and execution to support program and media efforts
Skills
and Attitude:
- Strong analytic campaign tracking skills and ROI driven optimization
- Strong knowledge of SEM, PPC and email best practices
- Strong knowledge of the use of marketing automation
- Experience writing online copy and working with a design team to develop email creative and landing pages
- Independent thinker, creative problem solver with little to no supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high growth, and high-pressure environment
- Attention to detail with exceptional project management and organizational skills
- Working understanding of database structures and data access
- Excellent interpersonal skills, articulate, with the ability to communicate well with everyone, from executives to the UPS delivery person
- Must be an assertive communicator with a flexible "can do" attitude
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree, Master's is a plus
- 3+ years of marketing experience specifically relating to developing online B2B marketing and web strategies
- Salesforce.com experience a plus
- Management of web and application development cycles including producing requirements, documentation and reviews
- Record of success as an online marketer
- Google PPC tools, Yahoo PPC tools, Keyword tools
- Ad tracking systems, lead form optimization
- Salesforce.com lead management (or strong experience in other tier-1 CRM)
- Graphics design tools are a plus
