Key Responsibilities:

• Development of client and server applications
• Become knowledgeable in the software architecture of Embotics' product line
• Work within project teams with product verification, customer service teams and customers as a technical resource and contribute to successful implementations
• Work in a team environment to maximize customer satisfaction to develop strong customer references.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years Java programming experience in a product development environment. Knowledge of OO design techniques, design patterns and UML Development experience in Windows and Linux. Development experience with unit testing.

Assets:

• Experience with Hibernate (O/R mapping).
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with Spring (dependency injection, IoC).
• Experience with JSF and Backbase web toolkits.
• Experience with J2EE development.
• Experience with Javascript and Ajax
• Experience with Web Services (SOAP, Axis, WSDL) Experience developing with Eclipse and Ant.
• Experience building multi-platform installers with InstallAnywhere.
• Knowledge and/or experience with virtualization (VMware, Xen)
• Programming experience in C/C++
• Knowledge of enterprise or telecom network management practices
