Embotics is seeking an experienced sales professional to join our growing team. If you enjoy the challenge of winning in a dynamic market, like riding the early wave, and have experience with IT operations and virtualized infrastructure, this may be the right opportunity for you.
Responsibilities will include:
- > Set and implement sales and revenue goals for the assigned region
- > Define list of target global accounts
- > Create, develop and maintain key relationships with selected global accounts
- > Define the strategy per account to establish Embotics V-Commander as the solution for virtualization management and private cloud automation
- > Formulate a strategic plan and provide insight and planning on where Embotics resources (sales, marketing, engineering, etc) need to be applied to drive to success of plan. Drive execution of plan
- > Identify and connect with key decision-makers, build executive sponsorship within accounts to drive Embotics initiatives
- > Recruit, develop and manage channel partners (training, demand generation, co-selling, forecast, business plan, etc.)
- > Pre-qualify inbound sales call and respond to them or distribute them to proper channel partners
- > Increase overall business in the region
- > Maintain monthly reports and analysis of sales
- > Be the focal point for all activities related to target accounts globally
- > Work in collaboration with Alliances Partners and Authorized Resellers when appropriate
- > Propose and sell Embotics’ products and solutions offerings
- > Represent Embotics in a variety of external conferences to promote Embotics products and services; and to anticipate and make recommendation to Embotics Product management team on new IT developments that will impact Embotics’ future business
- > As business grow, build a successful sales team through the development and execution of sales strategies in an environment of change
Requirements:
- > Aggressive, high energy, and a team player that interfaces well at all levels within organizations
- > Strong selling and closing skills with proven track record of exceeding quotas in both direct and indirect sales
- > Extensive experience in business development, negotiation, and closing business through Resellers and Distributors
- >Thrives on "the hunt" and self-starter when it comes to this activity
- > Excellent at "qualifying" and prioritizing opportunities
- > Strong technical aptitude and able to work hands on with products
- > Experience and knowledge of Datacenter infrastructure software
- > Self motivated, goal oriented
- > Ability to use company's resources effectively for maximum result
- > Ability to execute on multiple priorities to be successful in this fast paced environment
- > Small company, teaming background (wearing different hats)
- > Minimum of 10+ years of direct and channel sales experience
- > Travel required
- > Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- > Bachelor's Degree or higher
