We have recently launched V-Commander and are now ready to expand our team! Embotics is a privately-held company that helps enterprises maximize the benefits of server virtualization through policy based Virtual Machine (VM) lifecycle management, providing traceability and control for both online and offline VM assets. We are looking for experienced, technically savvy professionals to support our sales organization in a presales capacity. Job Description:


As a Sales Engineer, you will work closely with your sales colleagues to provide assistance related to the technical aspects of V-Commander throughout the selling process. You will serve as the principal technical contact throughout the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Work directly with sales staff in engaging prospects who are interested in V-Commander
  • Develop in-depth technical understanding of V-Commander and its’ value proposition
  • Assist with product presentations, demos, product evaluations and other tasks as needed to further the sales cycle and secure new customers
  • Document product feature requests/enhancements for review by product management & engineering
  • Help company to keep current on competition by sharing knowledge gained in field discussions
  • Help test alpha and beta releases as required

Qualifications:


  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills – both oral and written
  • Minimum of 4-5 years experience in enterprise software solutions; infrastructure software selling experience will be viewed favorably
  • Knowledge of enterprise IT configurations (network, server and storage)
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or equivalent work experience

Assets:


  • Competency in VMware’s product suite including VMware Infrastructure 3, ESX Server and Virtual Center
  • At least 3 years IT experience working and/or selling in a datacenter environment
  • Knowledge of information security and threat vectors
