Key Responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of automated test suites and practices to test the entire product line
• Work in a team environment to maximize customer satisfaction by helping to deliver a solid product through better testing methods and practices
• Provide support to software engineers in understanding/reproducing and resolving field issues
• Provide leadership in all aspects of test automation
• Work closely with the engineering team to define the test automation strategy
• Lead the gathering and analysis of test automation requirements
• Train other members of verification team in test automation
• Software performance testing

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of combined test automation, software testing and development experience
• Prior experience writing/developing test automation scripts and/or tools
• Solid understanding of methods to improve test automation script re-usability, return on investment and abstraction within a test automation environment
• Experience in web server technologies such as web services
• In-depth understanding of software development and testing methodologies
• Programming knowledge in one of the following languages: Java, Python, Perl, TCL

Assets:

• Knowledge of VMware and/or other virtualization technologies
• Experience with performance testing concepts and tools
• Familiarity with tools such as SOAPUI and STAF
