Jay Litkey
Founder, President & CEO
Before Embotics Jay founded Symbium, a venture capital funded company focused on Autonomic Computing and the automated management of IT infrastructure, where he managed business development and product management. Prior to that, Jay was the founding CEO of BlackholeTV, an Internet public video content aggregation and technology company.
Jay is a frequent conference speaker, started his career at Nortel Networks and holds an Honors degree in Computer Science from Queen's University.
Eric Courville
Vice President of Sales and Business Development
Eric brings over 17 years of successful experience in sales and business development and a solid track record at improving top line growth. Prior to joining Embotics, Eric was vice president of Global Alliances, at PlateSpin where he was responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with all worldwide channel, OEM and alliance partners. He also served as PlateSpin’s vice president of Sales and Business Development where he helped lead PlateSpin to well over 200 percent revenue growth annually over the last three years; increasing the number of customers from less than 60 to over than 3500 globally.
Prior to this Eric was responsible for establishing and growing MPlex Solutions into a profitable business arm of MediSolution Ltd by tripling revenue over a one year period. At Platform Computing Corporation, Eric was responsible for establishing and managing global alliances with key system vendors such as Apple, Dell, Egenera, Intel, Microsoft, Red Hat, SGI, and Sun Microsystems, leading to record sales. While as Director of Channels for SGI Canada, Eric was responsible for all the indirect sales operations, including resellers, VARs, ISVs, system integrators, distributors and telesales, leading to dramatic revenue contributions from indirect channels.
Eric holds a Business Management and Marketing degree from Les Hautes Études Commerciales business school in Montreal.
David Lynch
Vice President of Marketing
A dynamic, successful and well rounded 30 year veteran of the high tech marketplace with extensive P&L and international expertise in service, hardware and software products, David started his management career at Digital Equipment of Canada where he held numerous executive roles and won every award they offered.
Prior to Embotics David was VP Marketing for Apani Networks where he was responsible for their successful initial product launch, VP of Worldwide Marketing at Rainbow Technologies, where he rebuilt the marketing organization and increased sales, leading to its acquisition by SafeNet, Managing Director for Kyberpass Corporation and President at Cablecom International. David holds degrees in Nautical Science, Computer Technology and an MBA in strategic marketing.
Mark Jamensky
Vice President of Engineering
Mark is a seasoned Research and Development manager with over 17 years of experience in software and hardware development fields. He has extensive skills in building technologies for both telecom and enterprise customers. Prior to joining Embotics, he was VP of Product Development at BTI Photonic Systems, developing a WDM platform engineered for service connectivity at the edge of optical networks.
Mark was employed at Nortel Networks, where he developed their Preside Policy Services products which are now the MetaSolv Policy Services product. He also developed the industry’s first Remote Access SS7 gateway product, the CVX SS7, which is still in market with Aastra Technologies. Mark holds a Computer Science degree from Concordia University and an MBA from the University of Ottawa.
Jean-Marc Seguin
Chief Architect
Jean-Marc brings more than 18 years of design and development experience to his leadership role as Chief Architect at Embotics. Prior to that, he was Director of Engineering at Symbium, with broad-ranging management responsibilities spanning software applications through firmware and hardware development. With numerous patents granted, Seguin also worked at Mitel designing and building leading-edge, enterprise and telecommunications software applications.
