EMBOTICS V-Scout™

Embotics V-Scout 1.1 is a free, agent-less tool for tracking and reporting on VMs in VMware VirtualCenter™ enabled environments.

Within minutes of download, it’s automatically collecting and collating VM data, across multiple VirtualCenters, providing a centralized source for up to date and consistent insight for IT administrators and managers.

Since its debut at VMworld 2008, VMware administrators all over the world have improved the quality of information available at their fingertips and have saved time tracking VMs, updating data and formatting reports.

Embotics V-Scout links directly into up to two VirtualCenters, and allows you to create up to 10 custom attributes in addition to the "standard" attributes like “business owner” and "expiry date". Use attributes to track and report on information that’s important to your organization.

V-Scout maintains a historical record allowing for the creation of trending reports. Reports are generated through a robust and reporting engine, and include both preformatted reports and a flexible Ad-Hoc reporting capability, to provide the information you need – when you need it.

V-Scout discovers, tracks and identifies VMs as they enter, move or exit the environment. The intuitive interface allows you to view:
