VMworld Europe 2008 - Cannes, France - February 25-28, 2008 In 2008, the virtualization industry tradeshow and conference extended its reach to Europe for the the first time. The VMworld Europe 2008 conference took place at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, in Cannes, France. The virtualization event was hosted by the city that is known as the cradle of the world's most prestigious film festival. Just like the Cannes film festival showcases the best European films, so did the VMworld Europe 2008 bring together the cream of the crop of the latest technological innovations in the virtualization space. VMworld Europe 2008 offered three full days of conference activities, including more than 200 breakout sessions around 8 tracks and hands-on labs. At the VMworld Europe 2008, Embotics launched a new Channel Partner Program and invited European distributors and resellers to get acquainted with our technology.
Together with our partners, we aim to reach customers who have moved beyond server consolidation and who are expanding their use of virtualization in production environments.
Our technology partner program is offered to large and small partners who are interested in engaging with Embotics on a full-scale basis, i.e. from certification to integration to co-marketing. This program is designed for companies looking to establish a formal technology partnership with Embotics. Technology partners will work closely with us to support and integrate our solutions with theirs to deliver to our mutual customers a complete seamless offering.
Our value-added reseller program is for companies offering consulting and support services. As our partner, resellers will be able to leverage Embotics' resources and expertise to bring our key products to market, delivering enhanced value to your customers.
Customer Presentation by AMDAt the event, one of Embotics' customers, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), presented their experience in relation to control architecture for virtual machines. William Langford, server and storage architect at AMD, discussed the control challenges that arise when organizations move beyond server consolidation. Williams talked about how AMD is resolving those issues by using Embotics’ V-Commander. The presentation took place on Thursday, February 28 at 2:15 p.m. CET.
