Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cloud Management Platforms

Today is a pretty big day for us here at Embotics. As you may have seen, Gartner this week released its first-ever Magic Quadrant for Cloud Management Platforms [1]. We are thrilled to see that Embotics was positioned in the leader quadrant in Gartner’s inaugural snapshot of the CMP market. It’s certainly an exciting way to kick off the new year!

We are not surprised to see Embotics named as a leader – it’s a position that each employee here works hard every day to reinforce. Some of the largest companies across the world with the most complex hybrid cloud environments rely on us to automate provisioning and enable self-service capabilities across private, public and hybrid cloud infrastructures, and this recognition goes a long way to show us we’re doing a pretty good job at it.

This week the questions come from the webinar, Practical Ways to Improve Hybrid Cloud Governance and Optimize Costs, where Mark Jamensky, EVP of Products and Colin Jack, Lead Solutions Architect discussed the best practices to improve your cloud governance and reduce your public cloud costs and private infrastructure costs, and demonstrated practical ways to implement them.

Embotics vCommander in Action

Multi-cloud services have continued to emerge and proliferate across enterprises as IT teams implement multiple cloud environments from a range of providers. And with 84% of IT executives expecting to utilize such environments (IDC), there is no doubt of the benefits multi-cloud can deliver to meet specific business needs, from increased flexibility to reduced costs. But regardless of those benefits, multi-cloud environments can be difficult to manage and can create serious organizational inefficiencies.
